The shelf-life of our CBD and THC oils.
If they have been opened and properly stored, high-quality CBD and THC oils can be consumed 6 months to 1 year after opening.
If they haven't been opened and are properly stored, our cannabis oils have a shelf-life of 12 to 24 months.

Safe storage best practices.
Preserving the quality of your CBD oil is simple, focusing on three key factors. Let's explore each element and understand how to safeguard your CBD oil for an extended shelf life.
Light:
Protect your CBD oil from light, especially UV rays, by storing it in a dark place like a cupboard. UV rays, commonly found in sunlight, contribute to the degradation of CBD over time.
Air:
Air contains various molecules, including nitrogen, oxygen, and carbon dioxide. Oxygen, in particular, can adversely affect CBD. For prolonged freshness, keep your CBD oil in an airtight container to minimize the potential for reactions.
Temperature:
Maintain the integrity of CBD molecules by storing the oil at room temperature (18 °C – 28 °C). While refrigeration is acceptable for long-term storage without causing damage, frequent freezing and unfreezing are not recommended for the convenience of regular use.
As long as the oil is not in contact with water, open-air and sunlight, you will not have any problems and can keep your CBD and THC oil for a long time.
I want to buy tinctures in bulk. What is the best way to store them?
Refrigerating CBD and THC oil is highly recommended if you are buying the product in bulk. If you purchase either in bulk quantities and don’t plan to use them all immediately, refrigeration can extend their shelf life. The cooler temperatures help protect essential terpenes and cannabinoids.
CBD oil does get cloudy with cold storage. If this happens, don't worry – it's not a problem. You only need to run warm water over the bottle and shake well to reverse the effects. The same happens if you store cooking oil in the fridge; the clouding is a natural byproduct of the oils' low freezing temperature of ~4.44ºC (~40ºF), give or take.
How will I know if it is expired?
If the product expires, it will change colour, become darker, and change consistency or material. These are signs that you should stop using the product. Other indicators that your product is at the end of its life:
The smell: If it's different, the product has turned.
The colour: If your product is getting darker, the cannabinoids are degrading and it is losing potency.
The thickness: If the product is thicker than usual (the oil in particular), even after running it under warm water and shaking, it means its composition has changed.
The taste: If your CBD oil tastes rancid or bland, it is expired or has lost its properties.
